Progress inspections can be performed for a house under construction. DHI can visit the house during the different stages of construction: pre-drywall, pre-mechanics and upon completion, for example.
Walk-through inspections can be performed for any structure. A walk-through consists of a full inspection with a verbal report only, no written report. A walk-through can also be performed looking only at specific issues: a potential foundation issue, for example.
A pre-sale walk-through inspection can be performed prior to listing a house, to identify concerns that may arise during a home inspection, giving the seller time to make repairs.
Maintenance inspections can be performed to provide the homeowner with a list of needed maintenance on the home. For example, a senior citizen might find it difficult to look in a crawlspace or attic for potential issues. DHI can provide a maintenance list that can be given to a contractor.
Environmental testing for radon, mold, indoor air quality and water testing.
Consulting services: Thinking of remodelling or adding on to your house? DHI can help you come up with a plan that works with your existing house!
Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions of your life, and the wrong decision can be costly. DHI can identify potential structural or other problems with the house, allowing for discussion with the seller during the negotiations.
Show confidence in the home you are selling, have it inspected. An inspection demonstrates to potential buyers that you care enough to have your home evaluated prior to selling. It also demonstrates that they are buying a home that is in good condition. A pre-sale inspection can identify any potential deficiencies that may hamper negotiations. Needed repairs identified by the buyer can cost more in decreased selling price that in making the repairs.
